Smallworld

Our history of using GE Smallworld GIS is dated in 1997, when we started to deal with contracts of data conversion in that environment. In 2001 we became GE Smallworld VAR specialising in application development for water supply, sewage and heat supply systems.
Smallword GIS is a system created by Smallword System Ltd, an English company established in 1988. The system is advertised as a GIS system, which goes beyond GIS and offers flexibility, speed and reliability to the user.

Our potential ia as follow: 20 of experienced operators working in 2 shifts systems and 3 of software engineers advanced in administrating and developing applications in Magik environment.

Example of projects:
PWN - Holland - water supply network
WGld - Holland - water supply network
FDM - Holland - water supply network
ZEC - Lodz - heat supply network
PWN - Holland - water supply network
Digital conversion of analogue data concerning water supply network located on 7600 maps were done in Smallworld GIS system. Totally we converted 5 200 km of main tubes, 230 000 of appendages, 347 000 of house connections. In so big project we have engaged 20 computer operators working two shifts on 10 Smallworld GIS graphic stations. Several levels of visual control, system control tools and own Magik applications allowed us to achieve very good quality of the product.
Duration: from January 1998 till July 1999.

PWN
WGld - Holland - water supply network
Digital conversion of analogue data concerning 5 300 km of water supply network, 50 000 of appendages and 300 000 of address points. These points were linked with house connection's sketches, previously scanned and stored in address data base. Project was executed in GE Smallworld GIS 3.0 and Oracle 7.3.
Duration: from June 1999 till March 2001.
